A walk to the grocery store
Usually this river next to the car park of our local grocery store - Sainsburys - doesn't even get a second glance - look how it has been transformed by the snow!

Greece - Isand Life
We stayed in Panormas on Skopelos island (Sporadic Isands)... George having breakfast on the "stoep of our apartment, the view from the apartment "stoep" and the pebble beach.... I counted about fifty steps from the stoep to the beach...
George found these beautiful sea urchins while diving...one of my favourite mornings was taking the kayak and exploring a stretch of the coastline to the next village...there's that beautiful sunset again...
Greece
Our recent holiday in Greece...special times spent with friends, standing in awe of history while being surrounded by ancient ruins, walking through picturesque villages and experiencing natural beauty

Much Ado About Nothing
Smallhythe Place in Tenterden (Kent) provided a lovely backdrop for Shakespeare's comedy. Ellen Terry, the grande dame of Victorian theatre, owned the estate. After her death, her daughter set out to make it a permanent memorial to her mother. The barn has been converted into a theatre and during the summer, plays are held outdoors - we didn't miss the opportunity of booking tickets and enjoying the evening.

Lavender Treat
Lavender fields - a beautiful sight... We were treated to a full back, neck and shoulder massage with lavender oil in the lavender fields (see umbrellas and massage tables in the background) - the boys had a beer in a nearby pub (!)
Music, Castles, Picnics and Fireworks
Recipe for a great summers day out... some classical music (played by the London Philharmonic Orchestra), delicious picnic snacks, favourite family and friends, a castle (built in 1100's) and some Fireworks for extra effect!
